In the scope of a research project, two demonstration plant for the storage of low-temperature heat have been erected. The small test plant has been used for experiments regarding reaction kinetics and the testing of new process control. The pilot plant serves for the investigation of the behaviour of a thermochemical storage system in a total system with heating plant and humidifier. In both plants, desorption and adsorption processes of SIZEO 2748 and zeolite 13X have been investigated. This report describes the demonstration plant including measured data records, materials applied as well as the experiments and their results.
