ParBoSS Abschlussbericht

The scientific work of GMD-SCAI in the ParBoSS work packages concentrated on the development of suitable parallelization concepts and on the joint evaluation of the parallel programs developed by the University of Kaiserslautern. The parallel algorithms developed in the project and the corresponding parallel programs show clearly that efficient solutions have been obtained by the development of parallel software. The successful parallelization is documented by excellent parallel speed-ups and efficiencies already for medium-sized applications. The required communication overhead is so small that even workstation or PC cluster can be employed successfully and efficiently.
