The topic of this thesis is the geologic interpretation of remote sensing data of the lunar surface under stratigraphic and geochemical aspects. The goal of the study was to derive surface ages for spectrally/photogeologically defined units and to determine the geochemical composition, i.e. the titanium content of these units in order to investigate the relationship between these two parameters. Additionally, the results obtained from morphologic, genetic, and volumetric investigations were included in the interpretation.
