In der vorliegenden Studie wurden Ratten, Maeuse und Hamster fuer 3, 10 oder 30 Tage (18 Std/Tag) mit 270 #mu#g/m"3 Kadmiumoxid (CdO), Kadmiumchlorid (CdCl_2) oder Kadmiumsulfid (CdS) exponiert. Weitere Versuchsgruppen wurden nach der 30-taegigen Cd-Exposition 4 Monate in Reinluft gehalten, um Aufschluss ueber die Reversibilitaet der Gewebeveraenderungen zu erhalten. Das inhalierte Kadmium verursachte keine systemischen Effekte, die das Koerpergewicht vermindert haetten.
