Producing ceramic membranes by way of the common sol/gel-technique an energy amount of 140 kWh/m"2 filter-surface is being needed. At adequate applications these membranes do not satisfy the expectations of the users. Causes are: - The unordered crystallinity of the membrane-grains, - The only adhesive bonding of the membrane with the support. The hydrothermal technology conditions applied in this project are being described as follows: - Production of 140 nm -micro-filtration-membranes on SiO_2-basis: T=300 C, p=6 MPa, t=12 h, -Production of 60 nm - ultra-filtration-membranes on Al_2O_3-basis: T=500 C, p=10 MPa, t=6 h.
