From liquid alloys exhibiting a limited liquid miscibility fine and homogeneously dispersed alloys should be obtained in the absence of gravity fields. In order to obtain thermodynamically consistent sets of data on such systems mixing enthalpies, molar heats and binodals have been determined. Phase diagrams have been derived for the following systems Al-Pb, Al-Bi, Pb-Zn, Al-In, Bi-Zn, Bi-Ga, Cd-Ga, Al-Bi-Si, Al-Pb-Si and Bi-Pb-Zn. A simple model assuming the existence of polyatomic selfassociates is used to describe the thermodynamic properties and the segregation tendency.
