0.1. A method has been developed for measuring the powder output of a spraygun in g/min. Under laboratory conditions the method provides a measuring accuracy of #+-#3% of the true value. 0.2. A method and a device have been developed for removing free electrons and partly air ions from an electrostatic spray cloud. By means of this method the organe peel effect of powder coatings can be reduced, leading to markedly smoother surfaces. Meanwhile the method has been established in the overall powder coating technology and is used industrially as a standard. 0.3. A method for measuring the charge distribution in a powder spray cloud has been developed and demonstrated in examples. Additionally the method can be used to measure the charge distribution on a workpiece, the back spray effect, and for optimizing spray nozzles. All tasks have successfully been completed within the cost- and time frame.
