Direct measurement of HO_2-radicals is of great interest for atmospheric chemistry research. Existing measurement methods show interferences or do not have the required detection of 10 pptv HO_2. It was the aim of this project to investigate whether a direct detection of HO_2-radicals in the troposphere is feasible by high-frequency modulation spectroscopy with diode lasers. Therefore, measurements for a characterisation of diode lasers and investigations about system-stability have been performed.
