Shaped Beam antennas with shaped reflectors are the preferred concepts for shaped satellite antennas. Within this program analyses - and optimization procedures for shaped reflector antennas have been improved. All achievements have been verified by analyses and/or tests showing better thermal behaviour and higher accuracy in x-pol prediction. As a third main result a centre fed antenna with shaped reflector has been optimized with improved software for high polarisation purity, thus allowing for dual polarisation operation. These results have been verified by BBM - and within flight model testing.
