The knowledge of the location of the continental margin in the Weddell Sea displays restrictions for geodynamic models concerning the drift history of the Antarctic micro-plates. This thesis includes a survey of the continental margin in the Weddell Sea by deep seismic soundings. The main part consists of interpretations of refraction data which were collected in the southern and eastern Weddell Sea.
