Add to ORKGThe reduction of noise of a fully mechanized log-yard was accomplished through a better construction of transitions, the usage of rubber buffers and conveyor belts instead of conveyor chains. The measuring of noise has proven that the noise-reduced log-yard is 7 dB(A) lower than comparable log-yard without the new noise-reducing system.
