Add to ORKGDuring the operation of winter road clearing vehicles (gritting lorries/snow ploughs) to clear pavements and driveways impulse noise may be generated which is regarded as a particular nuisance during the night and in the early hours of the morning. In order to reduce the noise level a low-noise road clearing vehicle with rated driving power < 50 Kw has been developed. The scope of this development not only covers the vehicle itself but also the attachments typically used during the winter season.
