The reference concept of direct ultimate disposal provides for the emplacement of big POLLUX containers in the galleries of a salt dome as an underground repository. The containers are transported by plateau wagons on rails from the surface to the underground. There a loading device takes the loaded plateau wagon and places it into the main road for further transport. A battery-driven mine locomotive couples the plateau wagon and pulls it up to the storage field. There another locomotive takes over the plateau wagon and pushes it, after recoupling, to the storage gallery up to the emplacement position where the plateau wagon is unloaded by the emplacement device. After emplacement, the emplacement device is removed from the storage gallery. It is put on a plateau wagon and shifted to another storage gallery. Signal processing and control of the emplacement device are carried out by means of a memory programmable control. All safety and operation related important signals and state messages are recorded and shown. The major part of the emplacement device control is installed on the device itself. (orig/HP)Das Referenzkonzept der Direkten Endlagerung sieht vor, grosse Endlagerbehaelter des Systems POLLUX in den Strecken eines Endlagerbergwerkes in einem Salzstock einzulagern. Die Behaelter werden auf einem Plateauwagen gleisgebunden nach unter Tage gefoerdert. Dort entnimmt eine Beschickungseinrichtung den beladenen Plateauwagen und stellt ihn in der Richtstrecke zum Weitertransport bereit. Eine batteriebetriebene Grubenlok kuppelt den Plateauwagen an und zieht ihn bis vor das Einlagerungsfeld. Dort uebernimmt eine weitere Lok als Einlagerungslok den Plateauwagen im Schubbetrieb. Nach dem Umkuppeln wird der Plateauwagen in die Einlagerungsstrecke bis zur Einlagerungsposition geschoben, wo der Plateauwagen durch eine Einlagerungsvorrichtung (ELV) entladen wird. Nach dem Einlagerungsvorgang wird die ELV aus der Einlagerungsstrecke entfernt. Sie wird auf den Plateauwagen aufgesetzt und in eine andere Einlagerungsstrecke verfahren. Die Signalverarbeitung und Steuerung der ELV erfolgen ueber eine speicherprogrammiebare Steuerung. Alle sicherheits- und betriebsbedingten wichtigen Signale und Zustandsmeldungen werden erfasst und ausgewiesen. Die Steuerung der ELV befindet sich zum ueberwiegenden Teil auf der ELV.
