This report describes a cleaning machine in which metal and plastic parts are cleaned in an aqueous, slightly alkaline medium. To maintain waste water-free and low-waste operation in the cleaning machine, both the cleaning agent and the rinsing water must be continuously cleaned by electrocoagulation, microfiltration and reversal osmosis and kept circulating.
