Ermittlung des Standes der Abwassertechnik in verschiedenen Branchen

Within the framework of a research project commissioned by the Federal Environmental Agency the current state of sewage engineering and currently foreseeable development trends were studied at the Environmental Engineering and Management Department of the Witten/Herdecke University. This resulted in recommendations regarding amendments to existing water law requirements. Across all sectors of industry one can say that research activities should be increased to come up with effluent-free processes and production-integrated measures. We also need to urgently develop processes which are able to selectively seperate valuable substances or harmful materials, as the case may be. (orig.)Also published as: Umweltbundesamt.
