Computer simulations have become very important in todays sciences. The theory of complex systems (short: systems theory) provides an appropriate basis for abstract modeling sciences - in particular physics. In this work a software package is introduced, which serves as a general modeling and simulation tool. Beginning with a brief introduction to systems theory, modern techniques of software development are discussed. It is found that the object oriented approach and the theory of complex systems share many concepts.
