During this project a test-road has been built to investigate the leaching-out-behaviour of industrial by-products under the conditions of a road-base. The materials coal fly ash, colliery spoil, refuse incineration ash and a recycling material are used as road base. During two years the seepage water has been collected and analysed. It appeared, that for these materials a valuation of environmental compatibility is not possible out of the concentrations in the leaching water or concentrations in solid. A valuation is suggestive looking at the long term leaching freight. With standard lab-methods it is possible to simulate the long term leaching out for the use as road base.
