Grenzwerteliste 1996. Sicherheit und Gesundheitsschutz bei der Arbeit

The '1996 List of Limit Values' issued by the Professional Associations' Institute for Occupational Safety (BIA) contains the most important limit values for chemical, biological and physical agents which have an impact on health and safety in the workplace. The list contains a table of the limit values for hazardous substances (threshold limit of safe exposure [MAK], technical guidelines for exposure [TRK] and tolerance levels of exposure to biological agents [BAT]) from the following points in the technical code of practice on hazardous substances (TRGS): TRGS 900 'Limit values relating to air in the workplace', TRGS 903 ' Biological tolerance values' and also the classifications of TRGS 905 'Index of substances which can cause cancer, genetic changes or limit reproductive capability'. Also included are limit values for inner rooms, noise, vibration, thermal stress tolerance, radiation, electricity, bio-mechanical stress tolerance and notes on the effects of biological agents.
