Entwurf und Erprobung zweier Konzepte von Labormembranbioreaktoren fuer die Abwasserforschung

Die vorgelegte Arbeit verfolgte das Ziel, verbesserte Methoden und Ausruestungen fuer Untersuchungen des Abbaupotentials und der Abbaukinetik sowie des Verhaltens und der Wachstumskinetik von Mischpopulationen zu entwickeln, insbesondere im Zusammenhang mit dem mikrobiellen Abbau von Problemsubstanzen der Abwaesser. Ausgehend von den Anforderungen an verbesserte Laborfermenter fuer abwassertechnische Fragestellungen und den mittels Membranbioreaktoren erreichbaren Vorteilen in der experimentellen Arbeit werden die Ergebnisse von Entwicklungsarbeiten und von experimentellen Untersuchungen mit Labor-Membran-Bioreaktoren vorgestellt. (orig./BBR)The investigations were carried out for the purpose of developing improved methods and equipment for investigating the degradation potential and kinetics as well as the behaviour and the growth kinetics of mixed populations, with particular regard to the microbial degradation of problematic substances in waste water. Requirements on laboratory-scale fermenters for waste water treatment were formulated, and the advantages of membrane-type bioreactors for experimental investigations are pointed out. The results of development activities and of experimental investigations with laboratory-scale, membrane-type bioreactors are presented.
