This paper deals with the modeling and the calculation of sectionally regular high-rise structures. The aim is to develop efficient macro-elements. Especially in structural design these will allow for a numerical calculation which, by using the finite-element-method, will meet the requirements and permit a practice-orientated evaluation of the results. Due to the structure's regularity substitute systems may be used for the calculation and therefore the high-rise structure consists of continuous wall panels. Reasonable, i.e. realistic approaches with respect to the course of deformation in the structure's corss-section 'generalized cross-section values' are derived, reducing the three-dimensional problem to a one-dimensional reflection.
