One global objective of the MOMS-02/D2 experiment was the acquisition of topographic contents and their representation in maps and its integration into and suitability for geographic information systems both by first acquisition and updating. This objective was pursued under the project Investigations of the Cartographic Potential of MOMS-02 as a contribution of IPI Hannover within the framework of the photogrammetric group in the MOMS-02/D2 science team.
