This thesis begins with a consideration of the two-level atom driven by a coherent field without the additional stochastic field. This system can be studied semi-classically and expressions for the resonance fluorescence spectrum, intensity-intensity correlation function and the squeezing spectrum are derived using dressed states. In Part II, a chaotic field is added to the system. The effect of the additional field on the resonance fluorescence spectrum, probe absorption spectrum and the intensity-intensity correlation function is examined analytically and numerically.
