Effets de la microstructure sur l'ancrage des vortex dans le composite texturé YBa2Cu3O7-x

L'influence de la microstructure sur l'ancrage des vortex a été étudiée dans le composite texturé YBCO. La MET a été utilisée pour caractériser les changements microstructuraux après différents traitements. Différentes contributions à la densité de courant critique ont été mises en évidence. Ainsi, les dislocations ont été associées à la contribution d'ancrage faible lorsque le champ magnétique leur est appliqué perpendiculairement. De même, les inclusions de Y2BaCuO5, les parois de mâcle et les défauts cascade créés par irradiation aux neutrons rapides contribuent à l'ancrage fort. Finalement, l'influence sur la microstructure de l'ajout d'inclusions Ag2O ou de Y2BaCuO5 dans la matrice a été étudiée qui permettent une augmentation de la densité de défauts étendus. Ces deux types de matériaux nous ont permis de quantifier l'effet de la fissuration sur la densité de courant critique et de valider le modèle de séparation des contributions des défauts au courant critique.The effects of microstructure on vortex pinning have been studied in the melt textured YBCO composite. TEM has been used in order to characterize the microstructural changes after postprocessing treatments. The different contributions to the critical current density have been separated and associated to a particular type of defect. In-plane dislocations have been found to contribute to weak pinning when the magnetic field is applied parallel to the c-axis.Y2BaCuO5 precipitates, twin boundaries and neutron irradiation induced defect cascades were found to contribute to strong pinning. Finally, the effects of adding Y2BaCuO5 and Ag2O inclusions on the microstructure features and critical current have been studied. In these two cases, an augmentation of the density of extended defects in the YBCO matrix was observed.
