Le dépôt d'ammoniac atmosphérique est une cause importante de changement des écosystèmes semi-naturels en Europe suite à des processus d'acidification, d'eutrophisation et de diminution de la biodiversité. La végétation, qui absorbe ou émet de l'ammoniac via les stomates ou depuis la surface participe ainsi à la régulation de ce polluant atmosphérique. La thèse, réalisée dans le cadre du projet européen GRAMINAE (GRassland AMmonia INteractions Across Europe), présentait deux objectifs majeurs : l'étude de l'origine des flux dans un couvert prairial et l'estimation du bilan d'ammoniac à l'échelle de la parcelle sous un climat semi-continental en fonction des différentes phases de production de la prairie.
