All applications used in a company are designed for Internet support. Some of these aplications (e.g., VoIP, teleworking) request QoS mechanisms in the network to assure their good behavior. Each QoS mechanism is provisioned in function of SLA (Service Level Agreement) established between user/application and ISPs (Internet Service Provider). The QoS management role is to preserve all specifications from SLA during the contracts' period. The QoS management could be static or dynamic. In the static case, the network QoS management is done by the network administrator, using manual tuning work based on trial-and-error process, during a large scale of time.
