L'association de la protéomique avec les signaux de transmissions cellulaires a permis l'identification de nouveaux médiateurs protéiques impliqués dans le recrutement cellulaire, le système endocrinien et la biologie des lipides. Ainsi, PI3Ky est impliqué dans la migration des macrophages également induite par l'activation de Rac.
