Social enterprise as a way to financial stability of the czech nonprofit organizations?

My diploma thesis is focused on the phenomenon of social enterprise in the Czech Republic and its relation to nonprofit organizations. The main goal is to verify in practice if the Czech nonprofit organizations fulfill principles of the social enterprise. The next purpose of this paper is to characterize specific features of the Czech nonprofit organizations that became successful social enterprises. The theoretical part serves especially to understand main conceptions that connect to social enterprise and then focus particularly on existence of this phenomenon in the Czech legal environment. It brings theoretical basis for the empirical part of the diploma thesis. The empirical part offers examples of four nonprofit organizations which became social enterprises and concentrates on finding particular characteristics that make them successful or those inhibiting them from fruitfulness. The specific outcome of the diploma thesis is general recommendation regarding characteristics which should nonprofit organizations fulfill to be able to become a successful social enterprise.Ve své diplomové práci se zabývám fenoménem sociálního podnikání v České republice a jeho vztahu k nestátním neziskovým organizacím. Hlavním cílem je ověřit v praxi, zda jsou české nestátní neziskové organizace subjekty, které naplňují principy sociálního podnikání. Dále pak charakterizuji specifické rysy českých nestátních neziskových organizací, které se staly úspěšným sociálním podnikem. Teoretická část slouží především k pochopení základních pojmů se sociálním podnikáním souvisejících a dále se konkrétně zaměřuje na existenci tohoto fenoménu v českém právním prostředí. Empirická část přináší příklady čtyř nestátních neziskových organizací, které se staly sociálním podnikem a zaměřuje se na vytipování charakteristik, které je činí úspěšnými či jim naopak v úspěšnosti brání.
