Analysis of Happiness Management in Organizations in the Czech Republic Bc. Marie Kotálová Abstract: The objective of this thesis is to analyse the forms of happiness management in the Czech republic, focusing on the activities and competencies of happiness managers. Firstly, the premises and psychological origins of happiness management in organisations are discussed. Then, the implementation of happiness management into a business setting is scrutinised, its goals and tools, with due attention given to happiness managers and the position they occupy within their respective organisations. The paper includes a qualitative study in select Czech organisations, which have introduced the position of a happiness manager. A semi-structured interview with these very managers was the method of choice. The aim of the study is the cataloguing and comparison of various happiness management forms; happiness manager activities and responsibilities, as well as their qualifications and competency profiles within the selected organisations. Marie Kotálová Abstrakt: Ve stále větší míře je věnována pozornost odborníků a organizační praxe konceptu štěstí v práci a managementu štěstí v organizaci. Organizace vytvářejí pracovní pozice manažerů štěstí. V České republice však dosud není mnoho organizací, které pracovní místa manažerů štěstí vytvořily. Management štěstí má v těchto organizacích různé podoby, pracovní místa manažerů štěstí mají různé pracovní profily. Cílem diplomové práce je analyzovat podobu managementu štěstí v organizacích v České republice se zaměřením na činnost a kompetence manažerů štěstí. V diplomové práci je pozornost věnována nejprve konceptu štěstí v práci a jeho východiskům, která má v pozitivní psychologii. Dále je rozpracován management štěstí v organizaci, jeho implementace v organizačním prostředí, jeho cíle a nástroje, pozornost je zaměřena na pozici manažerů štěstí v organizaci. Součástí práce je kvalitativní šetření ve vybraných organizacích v České republice, ve kterých existuje role manažerů štěstí. Šetření je realizováno polostrukturovanými rozhovory s manažery štěstí. Cílem šetření je zjistit a komparovat podobu managementu štěstí, činnost manažerů štěstí a jejich kvalifikační a kompetenční profily ve zkoumaných organizacích.
