La contribution de l'ergonome au fonctionnement de l'entreprise (la mise en œuvre de l'ARTT par les dirigeants au sein de deux entreprises de construction)

Cette recherche est centrée sur la contribution de l'ergonome au fonctionnement de l'entreprise, dans le cadre de l'Aménagement et la Réduction du Temps de Travail (ARTT) sur les chantiers du bâtiment. Est proposée une nouvelle méthodologie d'intervention en ergonomie considérant l'entreprise comme domaine d'intervention et son fonctionnement comme cible d'action. L'entreprise est un système de travail complexe, articulant plusieurs composantes. Son fonctionnement est l'articulation d'activités collectives. La démarche comprend quatre étapes : comprendre l'entreprise et son fonctionnement actuel ; simuler les impacts de l'ARTT sur son fonctionnement ; identifier les avantages et les inconvénients ; instruire et participer au choix du fonctionnement futur possible. Pour ce type d'intervention, la pratique en ergonomie gagne aussi à comprendre l'activité des dirigeants et à influencer leurs processus de décisions. La généralisation de la méthodologie d'intervention renvoie aux limites et aux perspectives de la recherche.This research is focused on the contribution of ergonomics to the functioning of a company in the context of the law on a negotiated shorter working week (ARTT) in the building works. A new method of intervention is formulated that views the company as a domain for intervention with efficient operation as a target of its action. The company's operation is an articulation of collective activities. The approach consists of four stages : to understand the actual functioning of the company ; to simulate the impact of ARTT on its operation ; from these tests, to identify the advantages and disadvantages ; to participate in, and facilitate the choice of possible future operation. For this kind of intervention, ergonomics is improved by understanding the activities of top management and by ameliorating their decision making process.
