In this thesis, an extensive mechanical and thermal study of curing of an aeronautic composite material with epoxy matrix is reported. The characterization of the kinetic of the chemical reaction and thermophysical parameters of the resin is done using a DSC and a specific mold developed in the laboratory (PVT). The volumetric behaviour of the resin is then identified to determine its chemical shrinkage and thermal expansion coefficients. From the rheological point of view, the properties and the yield stress of the resin, characterizing a possible relaxation, versus the conversion degree are determined. The effective properties of the composite material and the residual stresses at the scale of constituents are calculated using a self-cons...
