Concentration of antibiotics in milk and blood serum after parenteral injection of antibiotics in experimentally infected bovine udders

Bu çalışmada, sığır mastitisine karşı intramusküler olarak antibiyotik uygulanmasından sonra kan serumu ve sütte antibiyotik konsantrasyonlarının seviyesinin saptanması amaçlanmıştır. Sağlıklı memelere sahip beş normal inek meme başı duvarlarından deneysel olarak Streptoeoccus uberis verilerek enfekte edilmişlerdir. İki inek 20 mg/kg.i/m. olarak ampicilline trihydrat verilerek sağıtılnıış, üç ineğe ise 10.000 l.U./kg. Benzylpenicillin potassium ile 20.000 I:U./kg. Benzylpenicilline procain kombine olarak intramuskuler yol ile uygulanmıştır. Deneysel enfeksiyonu takiben değişik saatlerde vena jugularisten kan örnekleri ve enfekte edilen meme ile normal meme bölümlerinden süt örnekleri alınmıştır. Antibiyotik konsantrasyonları, mikrobiyolojik agar uygun dağılım metoduna göre analiz edilmiştir. Sonuç olarak verilen miktarlardaki antibiyotiklerin sığır mastitis ajanı (Streptococcus uberis) na karşı kuvvetli öldürücü etkiye sahip olduğu saptanmıştır.In this study was to determine the level of antibiotic concentrations in blood and milk after injection intramuscularly of antibiotics against to bovine mastitis. Five normal cows with healthy udders were inoculated through the wall of the teat with Streptococcus uberis, for experimental infection. Two cows were treated with ampicilline-trihydrat 20 mg/kg. i/m., and three cows were treated with benzylpenicilline potassium 10.000 I.U. /kg. combined with benzylpenicilline procaine 20.000 I.U./kg. via the intra musculare route. Blood samples were taken from jugular vein and milk sampes from the affected and normal quarters in different hours after experimental inoculation. Finally, it was determined that the amounts of antibiotics used had a strong killing effect on bovine mastitis agent (Strep. uberis)
