International audienceIn this study, nanocomposite polymer electrolytes, based on high molecular weight PEO were prepared from high aspect ratio natural cellulosic nanofillers. The thermomechanical behaviour of the resulting nanocomposites was investigated using differential scanning calorimetry, dynamic mechanical analysis and rheometrical measurements. The influence of entanglements versus percolation mechanism on the determination of the mechanical properties of the composite was also investigated. Shear rheometry of the unfilled PEO and related nanocomposites shows that the shear viscosity first decreases when the concentration in cellulose increases.
