It is generally accepted that children with speech sound disorders show error pattems similar to those of younger typically developing children (Beers, 1995; Dinnsen, Chin, Elbert, & Powell, 1990; Grunwell, 1987; Schwartz, Leonard, Folger, & Wilcox, 1980).
