The aim of this thesis is to unveil some of the dynamics that would/could help to better understand the source of innovation, in particular radical innovation. The work underlines the role of cognition in innovation dynamics. It goes beyond the usual dichotomy of supply push/demand pull innovation, positioning itself rather at a level above. The focus is on cognitive processes lying beneath innovation dynamics. These are often overlooked in innovation and management literature and this creates a bottleneck in between technological and social components of innovation.EThOS - Electronic Theses Online ServiceGBUnited Kingdo
