The aim of the research is to examine female entrepreneurs globally and in Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates to see if there are any similarities and differences they have experienced regarding their motivations and the obstacles they encountered. It also explores the internal and external contexts in which they operate. The major emphasis of this study is on the sociological rather than the individual perspective.
