The design of a new oligopeptides, capable to mimic the properties of natural proteins, is an important field not only for structural studies but also in the developpement of new efficient drugs. The peptides featuring β-amino acids have been extensively explored, whereas the research in γ-peptides is more recent. The studies of γ-peptides show their ability to adopt stable secondary structures and also to have a promising biological activity.
