International audienceThis paper presents a framework for weaving the principles (ormetaphor) of social networks into Web services with emphasis onsupporting their discovery. Despite the regular updates of theexisting discovery techniques, the discovery of Web servicescontinues to exacerbate users due to the large number of availableWeb services on the Internet. Different needs trigger thediscovery of Web services such as developing new, value-addedcomposite services and sustaining the high availability of otherpeers.
