Une inscription d'Ostie et la législation impériale sur les collèges

International audienceThis paper offers a new edition and a study of the inscription CIL XIV, 4548 from Ostia. An unpublished fragment enables a reappraisal of the text, which contains wording very similar to those of the kaput ex senatus consulto known by the lex collegii Dianae et Antinoi at Lanuvium (CIL XIV, 2112). The first part records a decision taken by the Senate of Rome under the impulsion of Hadrian in may-june 121 and granting the right for an unspecified association to gather, with particular concern to funerary purposes. As this measure seems to be qualified as an innovation due to the emperor himself, its si- gnificance as well as its relationship with the s.-c. of Lanuvium are discussed within the general framework of Roman law of collegia in the imperial period and its modern reconstructions.Cet article présente la nouvelle édition et l'étude de l’inscription CIL XIV, 4548 d'Ostie. Un fragment inédit propose une révision du texte, qui contient une formulation très similaire à celle du kaput ex senatus consulto connu par la lex collegii Dianae et Antinoi de Lanuvium (CIL XIV, 2112). La première partie rappelle une décision du Sénat de Rome à l'instigation d'Hadrien, en mai-juin 121, et accordant le droit à une association inconnue de se rassembler, notamment pour des finalités funéraires. Comme cette mesure paraît être retenue comme une innovation due à l'empereur lui-même, sa signification et sa relation avec le s.-c. de Lanuvium sont discutées dans le cadre général du droit romain d'association de la période impériale et de ses reconstructions modernes
