Une gamme de types de réaction à #Puccinia arachidis$ Speg. est proposée, sur la base d'observations effectuées sur des feuilles d'arachide infectées spontanément au champ. Une série de réactions à l'infection à la rouille est décrite, qui sont ensuite classées selon deux types de critères; l'ontogenèse des lésions, et la sensibilité de l'hôte. Les types obtenus sont regroupés en classes successives, qui sont comparées à celles utilisées à une large échelle pour les rouilles des céréales.
