With 28 bones, 33 joints and a hundred ligamentous structures, this articulated entity is the result of a hyper specialization that makes humans the only obligate bipedal primates. Whatever the terrain, whatever the current movement, the foot transmits to the tibia the right force vector to finalize the gesture in the most precise and efficient manner and prepares the action of the lower limb.
