International audienceFrom a sociological theory on the process of professionalization in teacher training in France, this paper concerns the occupational transition that accompanies the initial professional experiences of novice teachers. It focuses on the occupational integration phase and on different adjustment factors, both personal and within the local context and entourage, and with the wider institution. Two surveys are used: the first was carried out before the 2010 teacher training reform (28 interviews of neo-tenured teachers), the second in 2013 (12 interviews of trainees).
