This research aims at shedding light on the relationships between the representations of the ideal pupil, the identity and professional practices of non-specialist primary teachers, in the context of inclusive school. Based on the system of professional activities (Blin, 1997), we considered that professional representations, practices and identities are closely linked and that they interact. The schooling of pupils with special educational needs (SEN) can turn out to be destabilising for some teachers (Saunier and Toullec-Théry, 2017).
