Introduction: familial mediterranean fever (FMF) is a monogenic autoinflammatory disorder linked to mutations of MEFV. We performed a literature review about coxitis in FMF and reported seven new cases. Methods: five new patients with seven new coxitides were reported. We reviewed the literature on Pubmed from 1946 to 2018. Results: 138 coxitides were found in 35 articles from 1908 to 2017 including our new cases. 36% were bilateral (n=56). Mean age at onset was 19.4 years (n=42).
