Literature tells us that older people are more prejudiced against minority groups than younger people. This research investigates if there’s a difference in prejudice against Muslims of Dutch natives from different age groups. Besides that, the research also investigates what effect contact, education and traditional values have. This because these mechanisms would differ for different age groups and would be an explanation for prejudice against Muslims. Young people, as compared to older people, would have more contact with Muslims and have a higher education, which would lead to less prejudices.
