Since The Netherlands is a multicultural society, knowledge is needed in whether religious factors could predict some of the attitudes towards immigrants, measured as interethnic egalitarianism. To get a better insight in how this relationship, if any, works, general egalitarianism was taken into account. It was believed religiosity would be associated with more prejudice, hence less interethnic egalitarianism, but also a broader support for equality, general egalitarianism. This study shows that native Dutch religious people are not per definition more negative about interethnic egalitarianism than non-believers.
