Studies on the subject sexual satisfaction of adolescents are not plentiful enough. This is the reason this study elaborates on this subject and contributes to the literature of adolescents and their sexuality. The present study examined the relationships between several parental factors (parent-child relationship quality, parental psychological control and parental attitudes) and the degree of sexual satisfaction by sexual experienced and sexual inexperienced adolescents. Data were collected from 1092 adolescents using online questionnaires out of a larger longitudinal scale study. The adolescents were between 11 and 18 years old. This study used measures out of two time periods. A Pearson correlation showed that there is a higher positive correlation between sexual satisfaction on an earlier time of measurement and the sexual satisfaction on a later time. No relations were found between the several parental factors and the degree of sexual satisfaction by sexual experienced and sexual inexperienced adolescents. In conclusion, it can be stated that parental factors are not the main factors which influence the sexual satisfaction of adolescents. The study contains some limitations which offer implications for further studies
