Wire-arc additive manufacturing is a new process using a common weldingrobotic cell to build large parts layer by layer. It allows building rough single pieces orsmall series parts with a low cost and a short delay. First developments were done ontitanium and aluminum parts for aeronautic and space applications, but more industriessuch as maritime, oil and gas, railway…are now interested into it. In this work, amethodology is proposed to define suitable process parameters and deposit’s strategies,with the final control of the elaborated parts. Developments are done on both highstrength steel ER100 and austenitic stainless steel 316LSi.
