Thrombosis occurring after implantation of a biomaterial in contact with blood is amajor problem. The use of polymers as supports for vascular grafts or as cover materials for stents may improve their hemocompatibility. It is in this context that the overall objective of this thesis is to study the biocompatibility of polyurethanes, called D-PHI (Degradable-Polar /Hydrophobic / Ionic). For this study, 2 formulations were developed, the original formula called O-D-PHI and the formulation HHHI (High Hydrophobic, High Ionic). They consist of the same monomers whose molar ratios vary, thus making it possible to modulate the polar, ionic and hydrophobic characteristics of the material.
