The yield of alpha particles from the 27Al(p, α)24Mg and 31P(p, α)28 reactions has been measured. Of the twelve known 27Al(p, γ)28Si resonances in the Ep = 500–850 keV region only those at Ep = 504, 631, and 728 keV gave a detectable alpha-particle yield. Upper limits are given for the yields at the other resonance levels. Of the five 31P(p, γ)32S resonance levels in EP = 400–850 keV region only that at EP = 641 keV shows detectable alpha-particle emission
