Notre recherche doctorale démontre l’orientation anticolonialiste de la pensée marxiste haïtienne en s’appuyant sur ses deux principales sources : la négritude et la théorie de la dépendance. Cette orientation s’inscrit dans les luttes intellectuelles des haïtiens du XIXème siècle (Hannibal Price, Joseph Anténor Firmin et Louis-Joseph Janvier) contre l’Occident raciste. Notre objectif consiste à expliquer l’appropriation haïtienne du concept d’aliénation élaborée dans une confrontation avec la tradition philosophique européenne, tout en réinvestissant la question coloniale.
